High on the hill of Sa Miranda, on the outskirts of Sant Francesc Xavier, the Molí d'en Jeroni is one of the most recognisable flour mills in Formentera. Dating from 1760, it owes its name to the Tur "Jeroni" family, who built it. Its whitewashed tower, standing 64 metres above the sea, together with the Molí d'en Mateu, makes up the Molinos de Sa Miranda. Restored in 1991, it regained its characteristic silhouette. It is privately owned and cannot be visited inside, but its exterior is accessible and the surroundings offer one of the finest panoramic views on the island, especially at sunset, when the golden light makes the white tower stand out.
