On the outskirts of Sant Ferran de ses Roques stands the Molí de Ses Roques, one of the oldest flour mills in Formentera, already documented in 1797. Powered by the wind, it was for generations the place where farmers ground their grain and neighbours gathered. It kept milling until 1936, and around 1960 it was converted into a home, losing its six sails. It still preserves its characteristic truncated-cone structure, now part of a private house, so it can only be admired from the outside. Perfect for combining with the island's windmill route.
