In Sant Ferran de ses Roques, all along the main street and around the church square, the arts and crafts market unfolds as evening falls, one of the great showcases of Formentera's art scene. Local painters, sculptors and artisans sell their work directly: paintings, sculptures, costume jewellery, fashion and leather goods, unique pieces inspired by the island. It feels like an open-air gallery where you can chat with the creators, while the surroundings add leisure and live music in the square. The best plan is to come at dusk and stroll unhurried among the stalls.
