As evening falls, the seafront promenade of Es Pujols, in the north of Formentera, turns into one of the liveliest night markets on the island. With more than 40 stalls facing the sea, it keeps alive the hippy, Flower Power spirit of the seventies in a relaxed, multicultural atmosphere. You'll find creations by local artisans: seventies-style clothing, handmade jewellery, ceramics, hats, espadrilles and bags, with free admission. Head down at sunset, when the stalls are already set up but the crowds haven't yet arrived.
