In the heart of Sant Francesc Xavier, this permanent exhibition brings together tools, household items, furniture, clothing and instruments that show what life in Formentera was like until the mid-20th century. Arranged by theme, it gathers farming implements, fishing gear and trades such as carpentry and blacksmithing, making it the perfect place to picture the island before the great tourism boom. Originally a private collection, it is now run by the Consell Insular and admission is free.
