This peaceful journey connects the central town of Sant Francesc Xavier with the Can Marroig Interpretation Centre. The starting point is Porto-salè avenue, which will lead us to Estany des Peix . This small lake, open to the sea through a narrow channel, is an ideal setting for practicing and learning water sports. In addition, it has small, very shallow beaches, which, together with its warm temperature, higher than that of the sea, make it an ideal destination to spend an afternoon at the beach with children. We will continue along the path that borders the lake and goes on to Can Marroig . This building was acquired at the end of the 19th century by Antoni Marroig, a Mallorcan, who implemented innovative irrigation systems. Currently, this space offers visitors information and educational activities related to the protected natural environment. The rehabilitation of the estate, which opened its doors in 2011, won the Sustainable Construction Award of Castilla y León. Here we can enjoy the shade of its pines and junipers or take a short break, taking advantage of its facilities prepared for a family picnic.
