Sant Ferran → Es Pujols

This route not only functions as an “origin-destination” path, but in addition to connecting the towns of Sant Ferran de ses Roques and Es Pujols, halfway along we can choose to access the large saltwater lagoon known as Estany Pudent. This route runs along the historic path of Ses Vinyes, winding and narrow and flanked by dry stone walls on both sides. The village of Sant Ferran de Ses Roques was, in the seventies, a meeting point for hippies and bohemians, gathered at the legendary Fonda Pepe which is still open. This free, creative, and festive spirit is maintained in the artisan and artistic markets held during the summer months every evening except Wednesdays and Sundays. For its part, Es Pujols is the most tourist-oriented hub on the island and retains features of its fishing nature, such as the boatyards and its beautiful beach, where we recommend taking a refreshing dip. Es Pujols beach is, along with Es Arenals, one of the two beaches adapted for people with reduced mobility. Both have: access ramps, a shaded platform, handrails, amphibious chairs, and lifeguards. To complete this walk, we can head to Estany Pudent, a place of great scenic and ornithological value, ideal for walking or cycling. At this point, we can access Sant Francesc Xavier or La Savina via ruta 2.
