Es Pujols - Ses Illetes

Es Pujols → Ses Illetes

4.6 km · 90 min a pie · N/A en bici · Difícil

The Es Trucadors area, in the north of the island, is a long sandy spit that narrows from south to north. It comprises Levante beach, which occupies the east side, Ses Illetes and Es Cavall d’en Borrás which occupy the west. This walk of more than four kilometers allows us to discover them. Levante beach is all white and fine sand, speckled with small rocky surfaces. In summer, the prevailing winds are usually from the east, and therefore, this beach may have more or less waves depending on the wind intensity. Illetes , however, is sheltered by the dunes and is usually a bright and shimmering mirror adorned with the small islets that give it its name. This entire area is located within the Parc Natural de Ses Salines and is therefore a territory of great environmental protection. Except for some beach kiosks, there is no building of any kind. It is practically a beach in its natural state. As you advance north, both beaches, Llevant and Illetes , are so few meters apart that you can spread your towel in the middle and contemplate both at once. Just 50 meters of water further on, there is another island, semi-deserted and just as resplendent as Illetes . This is S’Espalmador .
