Es Pujols → Es Mal Pas
4.2 km · 75 min a pie · 25 min en bici · Media
This route is the best connection between Es Pujols and Migjorn beach, as it is a direct and substantially shorter path than by road. We start our journey in Es Pujols , the island's tourist hub characterized by its busy and lively summer life. Here, a large number of tourist service establishments are concentrated: hotels, apartments, restaurants and entertainment venues, souvenir and fashion shops, a hippie market… In addition, Es Pujols has a beautiful shell-shaped sandy beach, speckled with tiny islets, small rocky sections, and boathouses that provide a picturesque touch typical of fishing villages. We will travel along the Camí de Ses Vinyes which connects the towns of Es Pujols and Sant Ferran de ses Roques and, as its name suggests, is surrounded by vineyards on both sides. We will pass by the Can Teuet windmill, the oldest in Formentera, documented in the 18th century and built in 1773. Finally, we will arrive at Es Mal Pas , where the Es Pi des Català defense tower is located. It is one of the five watchtowers found on the island, all conforming to the same typology of a circular plan and two levels with access from the second for security reasons.
