Es Mal Pas → Barbaria

This route is the third option to reach the Faro de Es Cap and the Es Garroveret watchtower. The uniqueness of this route is that it starts from the Es Mal Pas area, a very natural area, surrounded by juniper and pine forests, winding between dry stone walls. Shortly after starting our walk, we will cross the Torrent de S’Alga , a natural ravine that carries rainwater to the sea. It is a very special place, with old boat sheds, declared Assets of Cultural Interest, and the bare branches of junipers where fish is hung in the sun to dry and later prepare “ peix sec ”. Furthermore, from this point, we have a unique panoramic view of La Mola and the Migjorn coast. Our route continues south until it meets the road, which we will cross, to take the old Es Cap path, entering an area emblematic of the island's rural landscape: white houses with small blue or green windows, stone walls, fig trees, vineyards, goats, and sheep. The last section, by road, will lead us to the Faro de Es Cap de Barbaria and the watchtower that stands to its left, passing by the prehistoric sites.
