Es Carnatge → Es Arenals

1.5 km · 25 min a pie · 10 min en bici · Media

In this area of the island, barely two kilometers separate the Tramuntana coast from the opposite one, Migjorn . This route starts approximately from kilometer 11 of the road and Es Carnatge with Es Arenals beach. The Es Carnatge area is characterized by being a natural and quiet area, close to the small fishing village of Es Caló de Sant Agustí . Our walk will take us along an asphalted path that runs between isolated houses, often with family gardens and an agricultural environment with domestic herds, propped fig trees, and dry stone walls. After a wooded area at the end of the path, it leads to Es Arenals beach, one of the most tourist-frequented due to its beauty and good access. Two colors synthesize the character of this beach: the turquoise blue of its crystalline waters and the white of its sand, which gives it its name. Furthermore, its shallow waters make it ideal for a family beach day. It is in this area that we find numerous traditional and family-run hotel establishments. Es Arenals is, along with Es Pujols , one of the two adapted beaches for people with reduced mobility. Both have: access ramps, a shaded platform, handrails, amphibious chairs, and lifeguards. In addition, Es Arenals has adapted bathrooms and reserved parking.
