The starting point of this route is the Pilar de La Mola square itself, where we will find its small church dedicated to the Virgen del Pilar . This simple and elegant parish church was completed in 1784, responding to the numerous requests that the inhabitants of La Mola had been making since 1760. This is the only church that features a porch to shelter the entrance door and was declared a cultural heritage asset in the historical complex category in 1996. The beginning of our peaceful path is a flat agricultural area, with scattered dwellings and where the presence of two typical cisterns (aljibes) stands out, elements that served to collect rainwater, a crucial solution on a small island without rivers or springs that can provide fresh water. The cisterns are characterized by a rectangular excavation covered with a barrel vault and whose opening was protected by a small chapel, another characteristic element of the island's landscape. Many of the cisterns date from the 18th century. This bucolic journey ends on the coast, near Punta des Llençó , from where the eastern part of the neighboring Eivissa can be distinguished.
