The distinguishing feature of this route is that it fully covers the historic path to climb La Mola , known as the Camí de Sa Pujada . We will depart from Es Caló , a small fishing village with a charming pier capable of captivating anyone, both in summer and winter. Its wooden boat sheds, whose function is to protect small boats from saltwater, were declared a site of cultural interest in 2002. We will begin by ascending the Camí de Sa Pujada , used before the construction of the current road. As we ascend, we will be surprised by the best panoramic views of the island, of the Racó de Sa Pujada and the Pou des Verro . It is a walk that combines heritage and nature, stone and sea, past and present. Once we reach the plateau of La Mola , we will continue our journey passing through the vineyards of Bodega Terramoll , which produces wines with indigenous varieties. The origins of this wine tradition date back to the 13th century, when Guillem de Montgrí donated a vineyard to the friars who founded the Monasterio de Santa María in the highest part of La Mola . The walk ends in the village of El Pilar , from where six new routes depart to explore La Mola in depth.
