At the northern tip of Formentera, es Pas des Trucadors is a slender tongue of white sand reaching out into the sea, pointing toward s'Espalmador. With water on both sides (ses Illetes to the west and Llevant to the east), it offers wonderfully pale sand and an intense turquoise hue, all within the Parque Natural de ses Salines. You reach it on foot heading north from ses Illetes, which is accessible by car, motorbike or bicycle. The currents are strong, so crossing on foot is forbidden. Sunrise and sunset bring the most beautiful light.
