Quarries Natural pools

At the Punta de Sa Pedrera, within the protected Can Marroig estate and near La Savina, a set of old marès sandstone quarries have turned into natural pools. The blocks once cut by the quarrymen now sit alongside turquoise, crystal-clear and shallow waters that are perfect for snorkelling; from this northwest-facing spot, you can make out the silhouette of Ibiza. Access to the water is rocky and tricky in several places and not really suitable for small children: it's a good idea to wear shoes with soles, bring water and visit early in the day.
